Frequently Asked Questions

  • Sessions are held online via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Before each appointment, you’ll receive a secure link by email. You only need a stable internet connection and a private space.

  • My approach is integrative, which means I draw on techniques from various therapeutic models to meet each client’s unique needs. I primarily use schema therapy, focusing on understanding and addressing emotional needs. I also incorporate techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

  • You can reach me via the contact form or at healingwithkonstantina@gmail.com to schedule a free 20-minute introductory call. During this call, we’ll get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any initial questions you may have. It’s also an opportunity to explore the nature and severity of your concerns and see if my approach is a good fit for you. If it feels right, we can then schedule a full session to begin your therapeutic journey.

  • In the beginning, it’s recommended to have sessions weekly. After that, the frequency can be flexible, adjusting to the intensity of your concerns and your personal preferences.

  • The number of sessions varies depending on your unique needs and goals. Some clients find a few sessions helpful, while others may prefer longer-term support. We’ll periodically review your progress to ensure we’re meeting your goals effectively.

  • The first introductory call is free. The standard price for a 50-minute session is €75. For clients with lower income a discounted price (€55) is applicable. Contact me for more information.

  • I currently do not work with insurance companies. This gives us more freedom in how we work together. I can offer a more personalized and specialized approach, without limiting the number of sessions—we can take the time needed to explore deeper issues and work toward long-term goals. Additionally, the frequency of sessions can be adjusted to suit your preferences and schedule.

  • If you want to cancel or reschedule an appointment contact me via healingwithkonstantina@gmail.com. I gently ask you to inform me 24 hours before the planned appointment. In this case, you will not be charged for the session. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the session incur a cancellation fee of 100% the cost of the session.

  • Absolutely, feeling nervous before your first session is very common. Therapy can feel unfamiliar, and it’s natural to wonder what to expect. Remember, it’s a safe space to go at your own pace, ask questions, and share your feelings. Most people find that once they start, their stress gradually ease as they get more comfortable.

  • Certain struggles require a different set of skills or personnel support. In this way, I am not able to help people who present with:

    • Severe eating disorders

    • Severe addiction disorders

    • Serious neurological conditions

    • Severe aggression

    • Psychotic features

    • Acute suicidality
